DR. SUSAN SILBERSTEIN, PHD, is Founder and Educational Director of BeatCancer.org, a national not-for-profit cancer organization established nearly 40 years ago. An international speaker on nutrition, cancer, and the psychology of health and disease, Silberstein lectures frequently for medical and nursing schools, hospitals, universities, and other organizations. She has appeared on hundreds of radio, TV and internet talk shows, has counseled nearly 25,000 cancer patients, and has trained more than 60,000 prevention-seekers.
Silberstein is the author of several books, including Hungry for Health, Hungrier for Health, Kitchen Chemotherapy, and Breast Cancer: Is it What You’re Eating or What’s Eating You? She is also Editor of Immune Perspectives magazine and creator of the online Holistic Cancer Certification Training.
Silberstein is featured in Evaluating Alternative Cancer Therapies (Rutgers University Press) and Cancer Report (Change Your World Press), among others. A Phi Beta Kappa and Fulbright scholar with Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, she has won numerous awards for her work in cancer education.
